The Classroom Method
Three important features of the Ariel approach:
- Individual attention and active learning, with a small teacher-pupil ratio, the better to engage and encourage the students.
- Parental involvement: mothers are encouraged to sit with their girls at school, and to spend time with them at home on activities that promote literacy or creativity.
- A stress-free environment, where the girls learn at their own pace, with an emphasis on developing self-regulation, pro-social behavior and positive habits, rather than pre-mediated academic outcomes.
